A new book, a new beginning: App Development with Swift.
‘App Development with Swift’ is an extension of Apple’s existing Everyone Can Code curricula which offer everyone the power to learn, write and teach coding.
Apple said in the press release of on 24 May 2017 about this course:
App Development with Swift is a full-year course designed by Apple engineers and educators to teach students elements of app design using Swift, one of the world’s most popular programming languages. Students will learn to code and design fully functional apps, gaining critical job skills in software development and information technology.
Many colleges and universities in the US offer this course but you I wil self study.
Goals of ‘App Development with Swift’
‘App Development with Swift’ about the goals:
You’ll build five projects, beginning with a simple flashlight app that changes the background color of the screen and ending with a shopping app that works with network services to communicate with a web server. After you finish the course projects, you’ll have a chance to build your own personal project, working through design, prototyping, and development phases.
You can study by yourself or do it in class.
You can work through App Development with Swift on your own, or you may be in a class with a teacher. If you’re on your own, we recommend completing every lesson, lab, and guided project, to make sure you’re building all the skills.
This course was designed for students with no prior programming experience. But if you already know something about Swift, Xcode, and iOS development, you might want to jump straight into the labs and guided projects to practice your skills.
